Today has been a very long and emotionally draining day and I can't wait to go home, have a long, hot and relaxing bubble bath and then go to sleep in my big comfy bed.
Just thinking about this is making me feel relaxed and happy as I pull up into my driveway.
I've spent the entire day at Layla's helping her make arrangements for Tommy's celebrations, as well as his funeral which will take place in a few days and we also spent some time with the kids watching movies and eating takeout.
It was a fun day even despite the initial reason why I had gone to see Layla.
I shut off my car and let out a sigh as I close my eyes and rest my head on the headrest.
I stayed like this for a few minutes before getting out of my car and locking it up.
