Gamma’s Energy Attracts
by CA Clarke
Author’s Note:
This story follows several characters in the first-person point of view (POV).
My characters have a wolf with who they frequently have internal dialogue and interactions, ‘These appear in italics and use single quotation marks’. Mind-linked conversations are also written this way. (That being said, sometimes things don’t appear in the reading app quite the way I want them to.)
This is the third book in the Energy series. Book one is called Energy of the Omega, book two is Alpha’s Energy Crisis (both are completed and found here on Dreame and Starry affiliates). This is part of a winding journey, so I suggest you read those books first so you can enjoy this one.
My stories are free to read while I am in the writing process, and become paid to read after completion, so you can enjoy the free read if you can be patient. The schedule for this book will be two to three chapters each week, starting November 1st, 2021. If you like the writing style, consider following my profile, so you can be ready when a new story appears. If you like this story please share, make comments or like comments, it helps other people find this book.
Caly (nee Johnson) is the All-Mother or Luna of Stavros’s Pack and an Alpha by birthright. She has been deemed gifted by the Elder’s Council, an Ampere that can use her own life energy to help those around her, for a steep cost. Caly’s wolf Athena is quite the character she is often witty and sharp-tongued. Athena can act large and in charge, she cannot be controlled by Caly, nor can she be commanded to do anything. Alpha Stavros Forrester of Blood Pact is her Fated Mate, but his journey to acceptance has been a long one. He is often at odds with his own wolf Zeus, because of this.
There is an eclectic group of supporting characters to enrich the lives of Caly and Stavros. Beta Colin Grayson (Titan) is Mated to Dr. Caroline Murray (Aria), they are each other’s Second Chances. Then there is Theressa Wildwood a tall, toned and tanned, dark-haired beauty and the little devil on her shoulder, her wolf Enyo. Rather than being a conscience, Enyo runs on pure instincts. She delights in sourcing information illicitly, wreaking havoc in battle and snubbing her nose at the Werewolf hierarchy and its antiquated male d*minance. She has literally clawed her way to the upper echelon achieving the rank of Gamma.
Some of our minor characters are now old enough to find their Fated, Julia the Seeker, Warrior Conner, and Alpha Lincoln of Moon’s Heart (where Caly is still Co-Alpha along with her Brother). This doesn’t mean they are all getting Mate's, just something to bear in mind!
This story takes place two and a half years after Caly and Stav’s twin pups Carissa and Atlas were born (and the events of the second book). There was a period of calm, no one's life could be as crazy as Caly's all the time. Also, from my standpoint, quite frankly, kids are cuter to write when they start talking!
