Chapter 21: Competition

My senses were clouded by the fact that he was once with Celest. I haven't talked to Xander since the gym, and I'm glad. He went to train the classes he left behind and I decided to have a gym for myself, maybe invite Marcus while Christian isn't attached to his side. I growled at the thought of Celest with her hands all over Xander. Just because I told him I loved him, didn't mean that I forgave him. And just because I kissed him the minute I saw him, doesn't mean I'm not mad at him and it doesn't mean I slept in the same bed as him. He slept on the couch and I lay lonely in the bed, smelling his scent on his pillow.    There was a knock at the door that startled me and my thoughts so I nearly fell off the chair I was sitting on the arm of. I opened the door and found Marcus. I smiled.
