I look at the closed door and the scream of a girl takes me out of my mind. I turn around and see my father throwing the girl in the air. She screams and laughs. "Roberto!!"
When he puts her down, she quickly runs to my mother, who bends down and wraps her arms around my mother's neck.
"Are you coming to visit?" she asks. "I'm making soup with Luc. He's not very good at soup." The girl starts to tell more and I see how my father greets the boys.
