The dragon fire had lasted another two hours before the last wave had finally crested, leaving both of them exhausted. Trelon had barely had the strength to carry his mate into the cleansing room to bathe her exhausted body. It had only been the desire to make sure she was comfortable and well that had driven him. He had bathed Cara and gently laid her down in their bed before unlocking the doors and letting his symbiot in. He wanted it to check Cara out to make sure there were no lasting effects of the transformation.
