It was late the next day before Trelon came back to their living quarters. He had a broad grin on his face as he explained that Abby had been rescued. Cara was just so happy to see him all she could think about was wrapping herself around him and never letting go. She had spent the time reassembling most of the things she had taken apart, with some modifications, of course, but the empty feeling inside her seemed to grow the longer Trelon was gone.
