The party had a lot of guests, cars were parked at each corner, Guests were coming in and out, one of them was a waiter who stepped out. Being knocked out with a stick, Anabel changed into his uniform, fixing blue contacts aided with glasses, and wearing a brown male wig to match the waiter's hair colour, she stepped into the kitchen. "You there, why are you coming in now" asked the manager. "Sorry sir" Anabel replied. "Take this tray and move" he ordered. She picked up a tray of glasses filled with wine as she strodded to the main hall. She surveyed the hall looking for Delvin untill she found him talking with some Guests. "I am sure Mr Delvin will accept my proposal, a middle aged man said. "No" Delvin replied when a waiter came to him with drinks, he picked up a wine glass and drank, when the middle aged man was pushed from behind by the waiter causing his drink to spill on Delvin's white shirt. Delvin stared coldly at him and walked away, causing the man to shiver, walking silently behind him was anabel. After changing to another shirt, he felt someone's presence behind him, turning back, a gunshot was fired him, because he was too slow to dodge it, the bullet hit his right lung. Delvin knelt on the floor clutching his chest as he stared at the young girl holding a silencer in front of him. He had thought of many ways he was going to die but he had never thought of dying by the hand of a young girl. Karma was a b***h, he had made his son kill numerous people and now it was payback time. Anabel removed her wig and smiled " Do you remember me? she paused. Ofcourse he couldn't remember her, he had turned a lot of kids to orphans, it was only right that nemesis had caught up with him. "You see, Seventeen years ago, you killed my father in front of me. Delvin looked at her as he was slowly losing consciousness, "Then later you dared to come back and kill my mother" she scuffed, "I will do to you, the same thing you did to my father". She came closer and whispered in his ears, "don't worry, I will kill your son too". Delvin laughed, who would dare to kill his son, he had brought up a devil who was untouchable, the only reason she could get to him was because he was aging and losing his reflexes, he could have dodged the bullet easily but he couldn't. Anabel got angry that he had taken her threats for granted, she fired another shot with her silencer to his head and Delvin fell to the ground. "Father, a knock came at the door, as Anabel jumped out the window, Dylan walked in and saw Delvin on the floor, he rushed to him and realised a gunshot to his head and chest, feeling so much rage, he shouted. James rushed in hearing his boss scream, he saw Delvin in Dylan's arms, Dylan's eyes were completely red as he looked at James, "shut this place down, no one goes in or out. James spoke through the comm links, "I want every entrance closed, surround the gate, inside and outside now". Anabel had already jumped the fence before the guards came out. "I want that person found"standing right at the balcony of the hall, Dylan fired a shot at the ceiling, frightening the guests as they screamed for their life. With no where to run to, the guards had blocked every entrance and the doors were shut. "Search them" Dylan ordered, one by one the guests were searched for any illegal weapon, irrespective of who they were, Dylan didn't care. He answered to no one, and now that someone he cared the most for wasn't there, he became angrier. After a Thorough search for about 4hrs, they found nothing, James walked up to Dylan, "Boss we couldn't find anything". Dylan who was leaning on the balcony showed no sign of indifference. "Boss, we can't keep them here any longer" James added. "Release them, I need the CCTV of today in my office now" He stated. Reaching his office, he lit a cigar, allowing the smoke to fill the office. James walked in and dropped the CCTV on his desk then left. Dylan played it and watched every single detail, his eyes lit when saw a waiter push a middle aged man to spill drink on Delvin, the outline of the waiter face didn't show, as he had kept his head down seemingly avoiding the cameras. He watched as the waiter followed Delvin within a 30cm radius and entered Delvin room. "Damn it" he cursed. he couldn't see what happened next because Delvin's room had no camera. He ordered for all the waiters to be brought here immediately. Anabel arrived home, removing her outfit, she burned it in the garbage can. She placed the gun back were she had kept it, lying on the bed, she felt like a huge burden had been taken off her chest. She closed her eyes as she remembered a night to the event, Anabel reopened her mother's cabinet as she carried a safe, putting in the series of combination, she brought out her mother's gun, checking the bullet, she placed it on her desk. Anabel had been through a lot of training just to get revenge on her father's murderer, she had trained to be faster and tougher, she knew her opponent wasn't an ordinary person so she had to be perfect, She had learnt to not give her enemy a chance to stall or delay. Dylan had been working hard to find the his father's killer, his anger scared most of the guards as they avoided him, he was like a Lion seeking his prey. After a fruitless search, he walked into Delvin's room, he kept on remembering the times they had together, he carried a picture frame " I will find that person, and I will kill him, this is my promise to you father". While he sat on Delvin's bed, a thought came to him, How did this person leave? he turned and saw an open window when he remembered some nights ago someone had sneaked into the house and escaped through the window. Thinking for a while, he picked up his phone as he stared at a particular number deliberating on whether to call or not. "Hello" a sweet melodious voice came from the other line of the phone, he opened his mouth but couldn't say anything, "who is this? she continued. Listening to her voice, he felt peace and warmth, he really wanted her in his arms to take away the pain he was feeling, if her voice could soothe him this much, how much more her presence?. Not hearing anything from the phone, Anabel disconnected the call as she laid back on the bed.
