who are you?

Please note: I will be posting some of our characters Pov from time to time.

Just so we can get acquainted with them.

Anabel entered the Vin Companies completely astonished at how massive the building was.

She got to the receptionist, "Hello, my name is Anabel, I am here for the job of the typist".

The receptionist smiled at her and directed towards an office.

Anabel walked through the corridor while taking in the view, she opened the door to the office that she was directed to,

"Wow" were the first words that came out of her mouth.

Anabel's Pov

The spacious office I walked into was so astonishing, I couldn't believe this was my office.

"If this was an office for a typist, then what would the CEOs office look like"

Sitting on the chair, it felt so soft and comfortable.

"I am going to do a lot of sleeping here" I thought to myself.

Just as I was rummaging through the files on my desk, the door opened, a handsome young man walked in followed by another.

"I would need a new secretary" he said as he walked in, he halted noticing me, and the look on his face was more than disgusting to see.

"Who are you?" he asked,

"I'm Anabel" I said as I stood up from the chair, I'm the new typist".

"Congratulations, you have been promoted to my secretary, now get out of my office" he said coldly.

I closed my eyes and bent my head in shame over what has just happened.

I couldn't bare to look at the man, as I walked out silently.

"Well done Anabel, you have officially humiliated yourself" I said to myself as I walked down the corridor.

That stupid receptionist, she will get what is coming to her.

"Hi miss Anabel, have you seen the CEO?

she asked as I had gotten close to her.

"Why didn't you tell me that it was his office " I said almost shouting at her.

"I'm sorry, but every new employee is always directed to the CEO's office for introduction" she replied as she smiled at me.

"Atleast you could have told me, I made a fool of myself there" I said.

She laughed so hard, I guess this wasn't the first time she had experienced this scenario.

All of a sudden she stopped laughing and concentrated on her work completely ignoring me as if she was scared of a ghost.

"I believe you must be miss Anabel" came a voice behind me.

I turned and met the same man that was with the CEO, earlier.

"My name is John, come I will show you to your office" he said.

I walked quietly behind John until we entered an office quite close to the CEO's.

"This is your office, you are to report directly to Mr Dylan or me, understood? John said as he handed over a stack of documents to me.

"Please who is Mr Dylan?" I asked as I dropped the documents on the table.

John looked at me and smiled "You met him earlier".

The rings of a telephone startled me,

"Office now" a voice said from over the phone.

Before I could ask who he was, he had already hung up.

I ignored it thinking it was one of the employees trying to play a prank on me like the receptionist.

Minutes later, the phone rang again and I picked "Get to my office now or you are fired" the voice spoke angrily.

No one had the right to fire other people except the boss, I ran straight to his office and barged in without knocking.

He looked at me coldly as he ordered me to sit.

I sat down waiting patiently for what he had to say, he took him two minutes before he said " 1" .

I picked up my pen and paper getting ready to write my first task when I heard him say,

" I don't like calling twice, if this repeats itself then you are fired".

I dropped my pen and paper knowing it wasn't something I should write, this was my first warning.

He continued, "On no account are you allowed to come late, and report to me first before taking a leave of absence.

Take this"

He threw a file on the table "review it and report back to me" he ordered.

"Okay sir", I got up and left.

"Who the hell does he think he is commanding me like that?"

I thought as I dropped the file on my desk, if I had the chance I would bash his head against the wall.

After reviewing the file, I headed back to his office, knocking at the door,

"Come in" a voice said from inside, I walked in and met him completely serious with his work.

I must say, he does look extremely handsome when he is serious.

Damn Anabel, get these thoughts out of your head, I had completely ignored his hands that were stretched to receive the file.

Coming back to my senses, I rushed and gave them to him, he looked at the file and then at me, "Leave" he uttered.

"What" I couldn't help but feel dumbfounded, he looked at me like he had the urge to kill, the terror in his eyes were scary.

I summoned up courage and said,

"I am done for the day sir, and I would be leaving", I walked out of his office.
