Chapter Six Sunday It wasn’t the bright rays of sunshine coming through the bedroom windows that woke Megan the next morning, but rather a cool, wet nose and purring of one of the cats letting her know that it was time for breakfast. Yawning and stretching, Megan opened her eyes and scratched the cat behind the ears. With her eyes now opened, she focused on a beautiful painting on the wall opposite the bed.
