~Victor POV~ It’s been a few hours since Isabella left. I was now in my office unable to get her out of my mind. Watching Isabella leaving my conference room as broken-hearted as she was, devastated me. I knew how she felt about her company, especially how her face would light up whenever she talked about it, but I underestimated how much that company was a part of her. I literally saw the light go out of her eyes and to think that I was the reason for that crushed me. Seeing her in tears was unbearable. I was able to say the same f*****g lines that have now become routine whenever I was dealing with a hostile acquisition, using the same ploy tactics I always did.
