Bella, Carmen, Angi and I were at Emilio's attending a business lunch with Mayor Hill and her team to discuss the fashion show that was to take place at the mayor's re-election campaign launch in three weeks' time. Bella got up to stand by the in-wall TV to begin her presentation to the mayor.
“First, I would be remiss if I didn’t take some time to thank you, Mayor Hill, for giving me this opportunity,” Bella said as the mayor smiled with a polite nod.
Bella taps the remote to begin the slide show.
“I estimate that the fashion show will be an hour long. I’m thinking we should begin after dinner is served. But we can finalize the structure of the night later depending on what you all see fit,” she said as the mayor’s team nodded in agreement. She continued.
