CHAPTER SEVENZarina opened her eyes, thought that she must be dreaming and then closed them again. Then when she took a second look she found that she was in a huge room, exquisitely furnished, with punkahs moving on the ceiling. She could see tall trees through a large window. She lay trying to think where she was. Then she was aware that there was an Indian woman by her side who was lifting her head so that she could drink. She was very thirsty and the drink, which was of mangoes and limes, was delicious.
