I woke up when I felt my phone buzzing on my side. I groaned and checked the time on my phone and I squeezed my eyes shut when the brightness almost cost my eyes. Four-fifteen and Kevin was already calling me. It was still early in the morning.
"Wake up, sunshine." Kevin said when I answered the call. I just grunted and ended the call then looked around the dark tent.
They were all asleep and I chuckled seeing Garret pulling Earl closer to him and Earl's head was on top of Garret's upper arm.
They looked like a real couple.
I stood up and walked to my bag. I searched for my jogging pants and jacket for the cold morning and wore it. I went out of the tent silently and trying not to step on everyone there and I walked to Ariel's tent. They were already noisy and Justin went out chuckling and he jumped when he saw me.
"f**k! I thought you're a ghost." He said as he placed his hand on his chest making me laugh.
"Pussy." I said and he chuckled as he gave me the middle finger.

We went for a jog with coach and Kian, our lebero, kept on grunting because he was still sleepy. We were playing around as we jogged until coach run with us and told us to be serious.
We jogged around the huge place until five in the morning and we met up with the basketball team since they also had their morning jog.
We lined up and coach let us execute push up then stand up and back to push up position for how many times until our leg and arm muscles were screaming. We fell on the ground grunting in relief when coach said to stop. We had some cool down exercise before we went back to our respective tents to change for breakfast and I was glad that breakfast was ready to be serve already.
"Let's hang our shirts there." June said, pointing the tree a few meters away from their tent and it had long branches that spreads around it.
We hanged our wet sweaty shirt and we went to the shower room. They have the same shower room at our school were we could see everyone showering and I was use on showering with the team but it was different that time since the basketball team were there and they kind of had the place first for themselves. They all glanced at us and Garret who was sharing the shower with Earl motioned his hand come and share their shower and I shook my hand because the both of them couldn't even fit in the single shower.
We went out and decided to come back after them. After showering, we had our breakfast which was prepared and served by our coaches and managers. Half an hour after our breakfast, our coaches gathered us.
"I know you're familiar with low ropes." Coach said.
"This will be exciting." Justin said and I nodded.
There are two sets of low ropes and we have to compete with another team and the two remaining teams would have to wait for their turn. My team and Dean's team were the first one to play and I choose to be at the end and the last to run.
Coach distribute some gloves to prevent our hands of cuts from the ropes.
Garret was the first to run and the first obstacle were you have to insert your feet one by one in a pair of tires that were lined up. Michael followed and then Kevin, Dave. I waited for Dave to pass a few pair of tires before I started and Dean also moved where he was also the last runner of their team.
I just have to keep my eyes as I step in the hole of the tires and then the next obstacle followed where ropes were hanged and we have to step on a plank that was supported by the rope and cross those hanging ropes till the end. We would end up hanging like a pendulum if we couldn't control the swing of the rope. Michael was stuck in the middle while Kevin was trying to help him to steady his rope and Dave was still on the second rope.
"f*****g help me." Michael laughed as he tried to transfer to the next rope while Kevin was trying to steady the rope he was stepping. I looked at the blue team and they too were kind of stuck but two of their players were done and off to the next course.
We have to climb squared messed ropes and only to slide down and then another obstacle. We were stuck on a cylinder wood used as bridge and we have to cross to the other side which was finally the last obstacle.
Dave kept on falling down the ground and he had to go back and cross the wood again. It was my turn and was Dean's turn also. I noticed that Dean was trying to mimic me. I didn't know but I felt like he was watching me.
Of course, I didn't want to lose to him so I tried to cross the obstacle as fast as I could and tried to balance myself.
I smiled when I crossed the wood but I cursed when I lost my balance when I went down the obstacle and I positioned my hands to catch myself when someone yanked it and we both fell on the ground but I was on top of him.
It was Dean and he smelt nice despite how he was sweating so much. It was the first thing that I noticed because his scent was strong. I was surprised when he suddenly rolled our bodies making him on the top and I was under him. My whole body shivered when I felt his warm breathing on my neck and he murmured something I couldn't quite decipher.
I pushed his chest away and he raised up and ran to the next course making me stood up straight and ran after him. We had to climb a slope ground while grabbing a rope as our support and pulling it to climb up.
Dean and I reached the top at the same time and we had to run to grab our flags.
My teammates were shouting to run like he was chasing me and so was the other team. Kevin and Dave shouted when I grabbed our flag before Dean and they crashed me into a hug.
Garret messed my hair making me groan.
"It was quite a scandal down there." Kevin said and I frowned at him.
"Yeah. That was one hot steamy kiss." Michael said and Kevin laughed as he nodded his head.
I scrunched my whole face
"f**k off. There was no kiss, asshole."
I would never kiss a man and if I would, Dean would be out of all the options.
