Final chapter - the future

When I arrived with the body at Tegron's village, I imediatelly meet up with everyone. When I tell them what is going on, everybody is shocked. 

Seven that just joined with the group actually is a son of some high ranking officer in the police department. He said, if there is enough evidence, rainer and aaron maybe improsined for the experiment that they do is nearly the same as human experiment. 

Luckily enough the party is there. Consisting of high leveled player their strength may be needed. There's a high chance some monster will show up to catch Yuki, at worst a GM will show up. Because after I logged out, she will need time around ten minutes to move the large amount of data about "herself" into the syder. 

"sakuya are you ready?" I asked her.. 

After a little nod sakuya lowered her body and touch a girl body that is similar to her. As if looking at a mirror. When her hand touch the body, slowly see started to fade. Seconds later she dissapeared and the lying girl open up her eyes and starts to shout. 

"get ready, they're coming. Kuro you need to log out and bring my body as fast as possible."

After that I instantly logged out and now running towards the room where they keep yuki real body. 

"tch.. The door is guarded. I guess I have to defeat them first." 

Seeing me run at their direction two security that guarding the door took out their weapon. 

"if they face the old me, i will never stand a chance. But after the training that I have, right now i can move as if I'm in the game." 

I jump towards one of the guard and kicked him from below to the jaw. A soaring kick that leaves the man collapsed and fall unconcious. 

When I landed, not wasting any moment I throw a straight punch to the security's liver and make him succumbed in the ground holding his stomach. 

After I defeat the security, I found yuki real body attached to various medical equipments. 

I carefully disconnect the cable one by one to make sure she'll be safe. 

I go back to the syder and place the helmet on yuki. 

When yuki finally open up her eyes and returned to her real body, the whole process took twenty minutes but no one is coming to intterupt. 

"something is wrong." 

Yuki also say something is definitely wrong here. 

Just when we are heading towards the exit, we came across several lab staff but they're all moving like zombie towards one direction. 

As i look at yuki, I know that she agreed that we have to follow the staff. 

What we see next is something that we can't imagine. 

The whole lab staff is bowing down and worshipping someone. In the middle of the zombie circle, stand someone who is smilling in an evil manner. Dr. Schneider.... 

"hehehe... Welcome my guest... Thank you for your assistance.. Because the disturbance that you made, i can sucesfully initiate my plan." 

"tell me what is going on here." 

I am shouting and walking towards schneider but then the zombie horde hold me down. One or two lab staff can't stop me but right now the entire lab member is blocking the path.

"hahaha.. You see... I'm working here also not for free, I have a much greater purpose than those foolish people. Creating the ultimate AI, some super soldier, and lastly, just to safe her daughter.. Hahaha.... So pitiful.." 

"how dare you" yuki definitely can't let that one go.. Afterall it was her father being insulted. She know he is doing his best for her. 

"so, what have you done to them?" 

I'm struggling to break trough, but right now five lab staff is holding me. The staff cling to myhand, leg, and the last one grabs me from behind. 

"with the syder capable in reading and sending electric impulse to the brain, i designed it not only for that two reason. It have another function to copy and paste a memory. I succeded in copying that little girl "data" but to actually do "paste" I need more research. What you did today, proves my paste theory." 

I didn't imagine that my attempt to save yuki actually the reason that he can initiate his plan. 

"and this little button in my hand will actually writes the data that already implemented to the staffs in here. As soon as i press this, i will have millions of underling that will obey to my commands and have no other purpose than to serve me." 

What scneider is doing is basicly a brainwashing. Unlike the old brainwashing method, this time he will really overwrite people memory and implanted them with a new personallity as a follower of schneider sect. 

"stop that." yuki is now really angry but she can't do anything too. Some staff is now holding her down. 

"you two will be the witness in the new revolution of scneider army. Hahaha... I will start the countdown now. 10.. 9....8..." 

I know right now there's something that only I can do. 

I look with full of emotion to yuki. 

I know that even though yuki and sakuya is a different person, but this strong emotion inside my heart can not be wrong. 

I realized that yuki know what I'm going to do. 

"Noooo....." as she cried out so loud, I managed to break free. 

This feeling is so nostalgic. The world around me comes to a slow motion state and I know that I'm in over drive state.. 

I know this time it won't end in a simple nosebleed. At worst I may even lose my life. 

For the last time, I have to express my feelings for her. 

I look at her and say: 

" I love you" 

No voice come out from my mouth but I'm sure she gets my message... 

I look at Scneider but didn't aware of his surrounding anymore, he is in a trance while happily doing his countdown. 

"6...5..4..." 

With more strength that i gained, I quickly move trough the crowd. Just before he finished the countdown I managed to take the button. 

"you... How dare you.." 

Schneider then tries to take the button back but right now I'm much more powerfull than him. His brainwashed staff also can't do anything to hinder me. 

I know my time is running with blood starts to run down from my nose, I then destroy the button. 

Seeing that, schneider run towards me with the intention to kill. 

I easily dodged him but now blood is coming out from my ear. 

"there's no time left." 

Schneider is now moving towards a table and took out a g*n. Pointing the g*n at her and with a satisfied smile, he say. 

"it's over now." 

I realized what is happening and run as quickly as possible... 

But I don't have any strength left... 

God, please give me one more chance... 

In the last moment I grab scneider hands and turn the g*n barrel to be aimed at his jaw. 

*Bang...* 

With the trigger is pulled, schneider is now in a position which clearly shows that he just committed suicide. 

I stand up and look at yuki. 

Thank God you're safe... 

But my time has run out... 

God has grant me my wish to protect you and now it's my turn to offer my life... 

Ugh it hurts... I can feel that blood also coming out from my eyes, changing the scene in front of me to be colored red and one second later it become a complete darkness... 

....... 

I didn't hate my life.... I only hate the fact that I can't even defend myself when I was bullied... 

But because of that I was also be able to meet her... 

Sakuya.. Or Yuki... It doesn't even matter right now... 

God... Will i ever meet her again when I'm reincarnated...

I don't even know if I'm alive or already dead. I can't see anything except these darkness. I can't hear anything around me, not even my own pulse. One thing that I know for sure is someone holding my hand... 

Is that mean I'm still alive? 

After the last overdrive state, some of the neuron in Kuro brain is practicaly burned. The energy that comes from electric impulse travelling faster than normal is heating the nerves. He is lucky that it didn't cost him his life only leaving him blind and deaf... 

I know that everytime there's always someone by my side holding my hand.. 

I can guess that it was yuki.. 

Since sometimes that smooth and delicate hands writes " I love you " on my palm...

"dad, is there no way to heal him?" 

Yuki is now practically begging to her father. Seeing the looks on his daughter eyes, he can't say no to the request. 

"there is a way... But it can't be considered as healing him.. In my opinion still it is better than nothing." 

"I don't care even if its just a little improvements dad. You have to promise me that you will do your best."

Few months later, Sakuya is cooking in a familiar place. The room made of wooden wall gives of a cozy and warm ambience. She is humming a song showing that she enjoy what she's doing. The smell of the food that will make everybody drools filled the air. Within the next minutes she can hear the sound of footsteps approaching. 

"Oh, you wake up already? Food is ready on the table, you can eat ahead if you want to." 

"The smell is coming up to my bed, I can't really miss meal time you know. Afterall your cooking is the best in the world." 

The man gives a reply while coming down from the stairs. The morning sun shine trough the windows but the man face is perfectly hidden in a shillouet.. 

"you're such a bad liar master." 

While saying that yuki face blushed a little and the man sat down on the table... 

The sunlight then shone brighter revealing the man face... 

It's a face of someone we know. 

With the gentle smile that he always give to the person he love. 

It's kuro....

Yeah... How about that for the season finale? 

The last moments I can even imagine it in my head clearly.. 

It's taking place in their house but I won't tell the exact location hahaha... 

Can anyone guess what is happening to them? 

Kuro somehow can regain his sense back inside the virtual reality world.. 

The rebirth online data is clearly destroyed but if you notice what Sakaki company does, you can guess it pretty easy (spoiler:in rebirth online II first chapter) 

Sakuya talking normally to him but yuki said "master" you know what is going on? 

I was mixing their character because.afterall they merged from two different personalities into one but the core is still the same... 

Afterwords 

Finally after a year on hiatus this project finally finished...
