I looked out through the window as the car moved. I do not want to speak to Damien and I hope he doesn't speak to me. I have paid my debt by being his plus one and secretary at tonight's event.
"You seem to have a lot going on in your mind? Do you want to share?" I heard Damien whisper in my ear and I felt a jolt of electricity run down my spine.
When did he come this closer that I didn't notice? I felt hot all over my body from the proximity and his hot breath fanned my neck.
