"I'll be away for a few days. I need to be at the Blue Bay Pack," I tell the top members of the Moon Shade Wolf Pack. "I've talked to our king, Benson Doorson, about this. He agreed to appoint someone I trust to oversee the Moon Shade Pack during my brief absence."
I notice Fill's eyes light up at the news of my absence from the pack. There's an exchange of glances with the other important members of the Moon Shade Pack.
"Fill Frost will take my place. The son of the former alpha Frank Frost," I reveal. A murmur echoes through the meeting. "I know some of you still don't accept my leadership, and I've been proving every day how much I want to elevate this pack. How much I care about each individual here, as if they were part of my original family."
