All eyes turn to me as Benson announces my position as the leader of the Moon Shade wolf pack. I feel anxiety coursing through my body, mixed with bewilderment.
Some members of the pack protest against Benson's decision to appoint me as leader.
"She's just a girl, she knows nothing about leadership," declares a pack member, pointing accusingly at me.
