I woke up to the alarm I set prior to leaving for drinks. Since it was the day I planned to get back on the road, I had to get all of my stuff together and load it in the trunk of my car.
I was pleasantly surprised to not have a horrible hangover. Sure, I had a dull headache, and I felt a little sluggish, but it wasn’t anything a hot shower, coffee and ibuprofen wouldn’t take care of.
After letting the hot water in the shower ease the tension in the muscles, I made my way to the front lobby for coffee and bread of some kind. I settled on a blueberry muffin and took them back to my room, then I took bites of my muffin and sips of my coffee while packing everything back up.
