17 - The Good Dream

Katerina     After leaving the wig shop, I drove straight to the hotel and put the bags with the rest of my stuff piled on the floor.  My living situation at the moment wasn’t ideal, but it was better than living in that mansion and taking abuse at the hands of my unfaithful husband.     I should have known he was too good to be true.  I was a total nobody when we met, and he was already a billionaire owner of a large company.  Luke could have any girl he wanted, and he had obviously been doing just that.       The signs were all there, but I refused to see them until the damage had already been done.  Now, I was heart-broken and doomed to live a lonely life by myself, but that didn’t mean I couldn’t have a little fun from time to time, once I got settled somewhere safe.     Determined
