Katerina     After helping me into the truck, Dmitriy drove us to Nikolai’s house.  I had only spoken with the guy a few times, and I had never met his wife, so I was feeling a little nervous when we got there.     As Dmitriy parked in front of a small, stone cottage, I took a few deep breaths to calm my nerves, then I opened the door and waited for Dmitriy to come around and help me down.  Once my feet were on steady ground, he grabbed my hand and mumbled, “Don’t worry, Kat.  You’ll fit right in around here.”     I flashed a little smile his way and replied, “Okay, but don’t stray too far from me.”     “I won’t leave your side unless it’s by your choice,” he commented while leading me around the house.       As soon as we rounded the back corner, I heard a squeal from across the yard
