  Carina's POV -   I watched, mesmerized and uncomprehending. Abruptly, my bewilderment turned to fear as I realized the red dot was the laser beam from a telescopic sight. The assistant chief prosecutor was about to be murdered.   I jumped to my feet. "Get down!" I screamed. Drake launched himself at her.
