I seized the book from her hand.
"Hey, I was reading that." She said.
As she wanted to snatch it from my hand, our lips touched. I wrapped my hand around her waist to maintain her balance. "I -"
"Please don't say anything. Right now I want to hold on to the good feelings engendered by being in your arms. It feels so wonderful, I don't want to lose a bit of this feeling."
She leaned her cheek against my shoulder, feeling my chin against her forehead. She closed her eyes to savor in the moment.
For a long moment, I held her. She slowly opened her eyes slowly and met mine. We stared deeply each other, my eyes gazing into her soul. I could clearly see her feelings and longings written there. Her whole self were laid bare, open for me.
