“At her house the other day. She said she was having pain and visions. Her mother gave her a calming elixir and it stopped.”
“Do we have a calming elixir here?”
“No, but I can try using my powers.”

A cool sensation started in my chest, right above my heart. It seeped into me, and inch by inch, it spread through my veins. When it reached my toes, the cool sensation turned cold, and was getting colder fast.
Snapping out of my daze, I opened my eyes and sat up with a jerk.
