Lada had progressively deteriorated. She was confined to her room and bed for most of the time. She still needed her regular morning tea and that gave me an opportunity to slip in a little bit of solar for her.
I bumped into a hard chest as I made my way to Lada’s room.
“Heyy” he dreamed in his husky voice.
“Good morning sir” I tried to move past him but he stopped me.
“Why are you avoiding me?”
“I am not avoiding you” I said simply.
“You are. You won’t even look me in the face right now”
“I have no reason to avoid you. You are my boss and I work for you” I said looking at him straight in the eye.
“Maia…” he tried to touch me but I moved away.
