“Mason are you alright? You’re spacing out.” Lucas remarked as he watched his roommate burn the eggs on the stove.
“What?! Oh, I’m fine!” Mason said as he quickly snapped back to reality and took out the burned eggs in a place. “Here breakfast is ready.”
“Thanks…” Lucas said hesitantly as he stared down at the food. “You sure you’re okay?”
“Oh, yeah! I’m fine.” Mason spoke as he went to wash the pan that he was just cooking in.
“Today I’ll be sleeping over at Mick’s house again. Will you be okay of your own?” Lucas questioned as he took a bite out of the burned breakfast.
“Of course, I’ll just get some work done as usual.” Mason replied as he was washing the dishes.
