Maureen's POV
By the time I had spoken to two of the girls, I almost broke down. They had gone through a lot that I found so unbelievable.
There were fifteen girls that we could talk to except for Lisa who the doctors deemed irredeemable. The atmosphere was so tensed as we questioned the girls.
At a point after the pack doctor had told them that Lisa might soon succumb to her pains, they had huddled together and cried. The doctor had said it was hard for Lisa's body to fight the wolf's bane since she hadn't gotten her wolf yet.
Mara was assigned to encourage the girls to talk to us and give us information that we needed so that we could help them.
