Maureen's POV I couldn't sleep that night. Wondering about what Grandma Gina had said. I wondered if the knife was still out there waiting for the right time to be used to kill me. I glanced at Lance, he was in deep sleep. I couldn't blame him sleeping. He must be very tired. He had not had a good sleep in days. When I discovered that I was too restless to sleep and I didn't want to disturb Lance's sleep, I decided to go down to the kitchen to see if I could get a drink. I first tested to be sure that Lance's hold on me had relaxed. When I was sure, I stood up and headed for the door. I smiled when I thought of how he held me so close when we got to the room.
