‘Beanie!’ Blake called his boss when they were outside the office, headed back to their car. Beanie's mind was on Marilyn. He was saving her number on his phone, so as much as he heard Blake call him, he was not interested.
‘BEANIE.’ Blake yelled at the top of his voice. Beanie turned around gracefully, yet irritated at the way Blake insisted on gaining his attention rudely.
‘That is Leo’s girlfriend,' Blake said abruptly. Beanie did not catch Blake’s statement at first, until a couple of seconds later, he raised an eyebrow inquisitively.
