‘I was at your hotel’ Marilyn texted Leo when she got back home. Leo’s eyes shone when he read the text.
‘Ruger!’ He scrambled to his coach’s room.
‘Jeez, Leo. What’s up this time?’ Ruger asked warily.
‘When did they take down the posters?’ Leo asked with a dreaded look on his face. Ruger smiled.
‘Don’t worry Leo. She didn’t see anything’ Ruger replied eerily. Leo observed him closely, wondering how his coach knew that he was speaking about Marilyn.
‘Did you see her when she came?’ Leo asked in a calmer tone than when he had first appeared in front of Ruger.
