Katie's P. O. V.
This is unbelievable. The only time a hot guy talks to me and unfortunately, he turns out to be the biggest jerk of all. The king of jerks aka Aaron Lockwood.
I know you must be thinking what's wrong with Aaron Lockwood and why am I overreacting to this trivial matter? But if you don't know him then I must tell you, everything is wrong with him. Aaron Lockwood may be good-looking and handsome. He does have a nice height too but let me tell you one thing. He is the local resident hottest bad boy in Lashville High. He is the other name of trouble. He is even a player, who uses girls like tissues. He might be a Greek God according to the girls at the school but actually, he is a good-for-nothing kind of guy, according to me.
I agree that he is hot but still, I don't want just hotness or cuteness in a guy, there are many other good things which a guy should possess in order to win my heart.
Wait a minute, why am I thinking about this?. It's not like he is into me and neither am I. And never will be.
Ughhhh.
"Hello neighbour!" a voice brings me back from my thoughts and I looked at him.
"Neighbour?" my voice chokes as I stare at him and he smirks.
"Yep. We are neighbours." He smirks. That's when I look at my best friend, who winks at me. I roll my eyes at her and sigh defeated. "So this is what you wanted to tell me?" I say to her as she grins and nods. "And I thought---" I look at him, staring at his smug face. I roll my eyes and sigh, glaring at him. "What do you want?" I ask rather rudely to him as I fold my arms around my chest making my chest go up. I notice his eyes going down at my chest for a minute or so as I clear my throat and put my hands down. I glare at him as he smirks. " What do you want?" I bark as he moves closer to me. "Babydoll. That's not the way to talk to your new neighbour, So what's your name? Babycakes." He smirks, trying to use his charm on me. I roll my eyes as I scoff. "Don't give me orders you idiot." I spat. "And it's not babydoll or babycakes. It's Katie." I spat. Beth grasps at my tone as I glare at him. "Now will just freaking tell me what do you want?" I state annoyed.
"Feisty!" I raise my eyebrows as he smirks at me. "I like it." He winks.
"Can you just tell - - - -" I roll my eyes... when he answers interrupting me. "My mother wants a bunch of strawberries. She wants... um... So if you have?---" He smirks.
"Strawberries?" I raise my eyebrows as I hear Beth chuckles. "What's so funny, nerd? " he asks her. "Katie and her mother are allergic to strawberries. " She answers. He nods as I fake a smile at him. "So if you don't want anything else then just get the hell out of my sight," I state as he smirks. "Well now that you have said it." I glare at him hard. "How about a ...Kiss?"He winks. "Or a make-out?" I scoff and glare at him. "Just get the hell out of here, jerk," I scream as I stomp my feet and walk back to the living room, angry and frustrated. I scream louder taking out my frustration as my best friend and the jerk stares at me. He still has the audacity to smirk. Ass****.
After calming myself down and making myself presentable and faking a smile I walk back. "Get out if you are done jackass."
"Sure sweetheart. If that's what you wish for." He winks as he leans closer to my face. "But remember. All you need is to ask and I am all yours baby." I glare at him. "GET AWAY." I state as he winks, "Sure princess." and he starts walking away. Finally. "My apology to Mrs Lockwood," I yell as he starts jogging towards his house. "It's ok, babe. She will understand about your little allergy." he winks as I scoff but nod at his reply. "Just go away," I mutter and seems like he heard it. "Feisty." He grins as I roll my eyes and I decide to shut the door. Beth already decided to wait for me in the living room.
But when I am about to close the door the jerk decides to come back and stop the door by his foot. We stare at each other as I raise my eyebrows and he smirks. "Now what?" I ask rudely. He gives me a sly smile but it looks so genuine. "Friends?" he asks forwarding his hand and scratching his nape by the other one. My eyes widen. The good-for-nothing Mr Bad Boy is asking me to be his friend. Such a pathetic jerk and being his friend--? Eww, no!
So I did what was supposed to be done. "I rather jump from the mountains than being your friend jerk," I reply and shut the door on his face. Feeling a little confident and confuse on my sudden confident, I smile and walk to the living room where my best friend is waiting for me.
