The dinner is a silent affair. Mum is speaking to Marie and Pete and she seems to have a lot of fun as compared to me. Because of our little scene, Aaron decides to sit far away from me and sits beside his father, who's right in front of me. Aaron would stare at me sometime when the adults are too busy to even realize that we are there too.
Later, "Mrs Holes this pasta is really good. You are an excellent cook." Aaron speaks after a long silence from him. I look at him as everyone does. I can feel my cheeks burning but I bite my lip to control my blushing. "Sweetheart, I am not an excellent cook. I am just the opposite. It's my daughter you should compliment. She is amazing."
