My day with Ellie had been great. It has made me remember how much fun the two of us used to have together. We had finally done what we said we would, go to NYC together and act like tourists. The two of us were heading to Central Park for lunch which we got on the way.
“I can’t believe you have never been here,” I said.
“I know, NYC was a sore spot for a while to be honest, until Carrie and I got accepted to NYU,” She said.
I knew it was a sore spot because of me, because of the plans we made. When she thought of here, she brought thought about me abandoning her because that is what I did.
“I really am sorry Peaches, but I want to make up for it now if you let me?” I said, “I always felt like something has been missing, and I believe that it is you,” I added.
“We will see,”
