Later in the day, after the grand welcome, Clark was finally led to one of the public mansions of the city. That was where he would stay, for the short period before the inauguration commenced.
Though this was where he would stay, he would probably stay there sparingly as most of the procedures required to progress on the inauguration plans needed his physical presence.
