Michael POV
"I want to sleep." She said like a little baby.
"Sleep." I said in response.She pulled the covers and laid down.
I laid beside her and she is wrapped her arms around me.
She fell asleep in no time.I ran my fingers through her hair.Her bed had the sweet scent of hers and I couldn't get enough of if.
I opened my t-shirt and closed my eyes.
After a while,the door bell rang.Who the f**k is ringing the doorbell at this hour?
I looked at Ana.She was fast asleep.I slowly got off the bed and walked towards the door.I opened the door just to see Earl standing there.
"What are you doing here?" He asked me.
"What do you mean what am I doing here? Who the f**k comes at some one's house at this hour?!" I said angrily.
"She is mine and it's my wish whenever I come ir whenever I go." He said.
"She is mine and you better back off motherfucker." I gritted my teeth and choked him.
"Michael!" He said and punched me in the face.
"f*****g bastard!" I yelled as I raised my hand to slap him but that slap was placed on someone else's face.
Ana.
She held her face and looked at me."Earl,please leave." She said as she turned to him.
"No, An I can't leave you with that monster." That bastard said.He was acting to be innocent in front of her.
"He is not a monster,Earl! He was taking care of me because I had fever." She replied.
"I am not convinced,An.He will kill you if I leave you alone with him." He said.
"Bastard." I said as I moved forward to hit him but Ana grabbed my hands.
"Earl, I don't want you here.It's best that you leave." She said.
"No,I won't leave.Tell him to leave!" He said and pointed his finger towards me.
"He isn't leaving and please get out Earl!" She said rudely.
"You both will regret." He said before leaving with angry eyes.Ana closed the door and sighed.
"I didn't mean to slap you,Ana." I said.
"I know." She smiled.
"Shall we get some sleep? I am really tired." she said as she embraced me.
"Yes,baby." I said as I carried her to the bedroom.
"I am not a little baby." She whispered in my ear.
"You are daddy's little baby." I said and placed her on the bed.
"I don't want to lose you daddy." She whispered.
"You won't,baby girl." I said and kissed her temple.
"What if you find someone better than me? Then you will leave me." She mumbled in my chest.
"Baby girl.I won't leave you." I said.
"But you did almost kill me just because of Scarlett." She said.
"I wasn't in my right mind.I am sorry baby." I said.
"But baby girl...how do you know Earl?" I asked.
"He is the son of my dad's best friend.He was way too much older than me and I didn't want anything from him but my parents and his parents always wanted that we will get married someday.One day,he confessed his love for me and I said that he was way too old for me and I didn't love him.He said that he will always love me and one day he will accomplish in making me his." She said.
"I am scared of him.He is always behind me.He is always watching me." She added.
"You don't need to be afraid, baby girl.I am here.I will always protect you." I said.
"But..." I whispered.
"I like to give up other people pain, baby.It makes me happy." I confessed.
"And you enjoyed seeing me hurt?" She removed her little head from my chest.
"I did for a moment but when I saw that you were in pain.I was in pain too, trust me."
"I try to control my monster in front of you." I said.
She narrowed down her eyes.
"I just thought that I was special to you.That's why I argued with her...I didn't know that-"
"You are special to me!" I cut her off and cupped her jaw.
"You are special to me."
"Okay." She mumbled and hid her face in my chest
"Do you love me?" She asked all of a sudden.This was the question I never wanted to answer.This was the question I never thought that I would have to answer after what Kara did to me.I knew the longer I stayed with Ana,the chances of answering this question will increase.I knew I had to face this question one day or the other but I didn't know that I would have to face this so soon.I had feelings for her.I had deep feelings for her but I didn't know that whether it was love.
"I do have feelings for you but I am not sure whether it's love." I said and rubbed my thumb over her cheek.
"Do you love me?" I asked a question I never wanted to ask.That question's answer which terrified me.The answer I never wanted to hear.She gulped and looked at me.With my answer,she would never say that she loves me but does it matter? I know that she does.
"I-let's not talk about it anymore.'' She said and closed her eyes.
"Why not?" I said and lifted her jaw.
"Now that you know how I feel for you,you need to tell me yours too." I said.She frowned.
Without any words,she put her hand behind my neck and crashed her lips on mine.I loved whenever she kissed me, whenever I felt her soft, luscious lips on mine, whenever she licked my tongue with her delicious one.
"What did that mean?" I asked as she broke off the kiss.
"It meant that I really love you whether you love me or not." She replied.
"You will always be my baby girl." I said and kissed the bridge of her nose.
"Now... help me get rid of Earl."
