When Rowan finished coughing and taking in the air that he needed for his body function, he fixed his body to sit on the floor crosslegged. He brought Seraphine's body to his lap, hugging her like a little child. Then he patted her head again because he thought it was the deal-breaker that made her stopped choking him. He found her breathing calmly on his lap despite the still pouring tears.
"Cry as much as you want," he said, "I just hope you don't put your snots to my shirt."
Seraphine did not know if he was joking or serious.
"The best way to stop yourself from crying is to let it out, Sera," he continued, "If you bottle up the feelings, you will end up bursting one day. Like today."
