17 Megan I hear the sound of the front door closing, then Chris kicking off his shoes and walking into the living room. ‘How did it go?’ I ask. I presume fairly well, seeing as he’s back home a few hours later and not banged up in a prison cell somewhere. ‘Fine. They wanted to find out more about Riley from a school point of view.
