Amelia's POV School was really hard. I always knew training to be a doctor would be, but this week in particular really hit me like a truck. Hard work paired with Boston's increasingly cold weather resulted in me getting sick- my first bout of flu, I hadn't had one for years. My tutors had told me to take a couple of days off as we were currently doing an acute hospital placement. I was lucky enough to be placed in the ER- it was so fascinating to see all the blood, guts and gore. This meant that I argued with my tutor, until she threatened to kick me out of University, when she told me I had to go home. I just wanted to stay in the ER.
