chapter 4

The place smelt of alcohol and sweat honestly. Colorful lights everywhere with shimmery bulbs lighting up the whole place. Men and women scattered everywhere, on the dancefloor, on the deck, at the bar, or the booths. I felt so out of place but carried on moving as I felt Enzo's hand on the small of my back, guiding me deep inside. I spotted Asher near the bar talking to someone from our school. So it was not only me underage here. As we reached the bar, I saw Enzo leaning onto the counter. "Fabian, get us shots." He said over the loud music and I looked at Enzo in confusion. Don't tell me they were planning to drink when I was right here. I was never been to this place and what if they get wasted? "Right away Bud." The guy Fabian said to Enzo and I felt like they knew each other. Were they familiar to this place? No wonder they let us in without a question and without asking me for my identity. "So? You don't seem to like here?" Enzo sat on the barstool and I followed suit. "Uh- well. I've never really been to these places." I shrugged and saw Enzo frowning. "Really? I thought you were a party Gurl." He said as if he knew me well. "Yeah? You did? Well sorry I didn't lived up to your assumptions." I shot at him.
