Wendy followed closely behind Felix as they boarded the car. Felix glanced at her disheveled appearance and remarked, "You're quite something, getting into a police station just by buying some clothes."
Taking a deep breath, Wendy disregarded the sting in his words, knowing full well that he had just saved her. "I didn't want this either," she replied calmly.
Little did she know she would encounter such an odd pair as Linda and Lily. If she had known earlier, she wouldn't have come out looking for trouble.
"You're quite talkative now, but why didn't you say anything at the mall just now?"
