She shut the light off in the bathroom adjacent to Helios’ bathroom and sighed. The office was lit only with a single lamp and when she’d first entered, she’d been surprised how minimalistic the office was. She had expected it would be swanky and sexy given the man’s reputation but there wasn’t even a sofa in here. The man did not party in his office. This was his workspace.
She jumped when her eyes fell to the desk and noted a figure sitting in the chair behind it. She groaned loudly before whispering with her eyes darting to the door. “What the hell are you doing here?”
“Get over here,” Alvar’s voice was so cold Sienna was sure she saw puffs of steam like dragon’s breath enter the warm air of the office.
