Silence passed for a long while before I opened one of my eyes to peep at her. She was just staring at me, an annoyed expression on her face.
“You think I would not dare to kill you?”
“No. I know very well how easy it is for you to kill me but it’s not the solution.” I swallowed hard, feeling her grip tightening on the blade. “Have you heard the rumors about the Luna who cheated on her husband, got caught and got exiled?”
“Yeah, she’s stupid. Why do it if she was going to get caught?” Trisha’s lips curved and she used the blade to tip my head further up. “Are you that Luna?”
