I was in my study when one of my men burst in to inform me that Cassandra Martini was here and asking to see me.
I sighed at this and looked towards heaven for strength.
Cassandra was someone I had had something to do with in the past; she and I were engaged and almost married before I called it off and her family have been smarting about my rejection ever since but not her.
