“What do you think they are discussing?” I muttered to myself.
“You have to ask?” Cassandra scoffed, pushing me to the side and placing her ears deftly to the door.
I watched her strain and then smile before leaning backwards and straightening.
“Well?” I prompted
“Pedro thinks you are a liability and should be killed” She told me.
I stared at her, the expression on her face not exposing anything else.
She had to be kidding? There was no way… Dante would never…
“You are lying” I snapped at her
“Listen for yourself.”
I brushed past her, putting my ear to the door and sorting through the voices.
“You are fool if you think she is going to love you after everything we have done to her and you are going to be killed sooner rather than later if you make her your weak
