I walked out of the room and headed straight for the bar because I suddenly needed a damn drink and I had to place a phone call to Marco. I needed to know what had happened with the guys and if he had been able to get any information out of them.
I would have gone there myself to torture the truth out of them with pleasure but I had to be here with Francesca because torturing her seemed more fun to me.
“What have they said?” I queried immediately he picked up the phone.
“They were sent by Domenico Guerra and the plan was to kill you” Marco explained.
