When I wake up, I know it’s later by the way the sunlight slants under the curtains into the room. It isn’t as bright as it was before, and there’s an orange look to the light that makes me think of early summer evenings and late afternoon naps. My body still aches in odd places, but overall, I feel refreshed and renewed.
