Sky knew that look in Hunter's eyes. The one that often pulls her into trouble. Like that time when she jumped the fence to Grumpy Mr. Rickards house, when the goal he had kicked so marvelously well flew past the goal post and into Mr. Rickards yard. She had cut her leg in the metal fence and had to get stitches.
Hunter's baby blue eyes were twinkling with laughter as he waved the paper bag full of deliciousness.
"He is bribing you into forgiving him, that sneak. Stay strong, my darling tholi. I know you can. I know you are not weak. I know you are not shameless." Aaditya shook his head at her. "Strong." His smile was fierce as he gave her a look.
