Her missing news fell into my ears as if someone poured hot lava over my skin.

Not only did I lose my temper but every inch of my body turned insane to break her legs as I am hell that she deliberately escaped to save herself from our marriage.

I could feel the stare of my grandfather and mom at me, their gaze was a clear warning for me to act like a man and deal with the matter as calmly as I could.

If it was some other matter, I would surely do what they were expecting me to act but not in this matter.

My palms automatically curled into fists and my jaws clenched in rage. looked out a heavy breath and rested my fists on the tabletop.

"How can we trust that this is not your game?

Maybe you are using your daughter and want to tarnish our image."

I barked at the father of the girl whom I was supposed to marry.

I was trying hard to keep my rage in control.

Grandpa and Mom were silent but their gazes were fixed on us like eagles.

From the beginning, Lucian and my soon-to-be bride's father were buddies but for the past three years, they haven't been in contact with each other.

No one knows what happened between them as their broken comradery was still a mysterious topic for us and made all of us wonder about it.

Their broken camaraderie was a golden opportunity for us to use as Lucian was the main reason why Maddy's father turned out our enemy that was why our clan decided to end the rivalry between both clans.

Today we were supposed to sign the agreement papers and end our rivalry on the official level.

For the last 20 years, Lucian has made our lives a living hell and used all his tactics to ruin us, our empire.

My marriage with Medusa would not only end the war between both clans but I would also get the opportunity to show hell to Lucian with open eyes.

The blazing fury inside me made me get up and grab the bastard by his collar.

Our men and his men pointed guns at each other but Maddy's father asked his men to calm down.

I didn't remove my gaze from Maddy's father even for a second, my eyes were trying to find the lie in his eyes but there was none.

Resting my palms over the tabletop, I narrowed my gaze at him exhibiting all the madness on my face which I was feeling from inside.

"The wedding news already spread among all the clans,

The whole world knows I am supposed to marry your daughter.

(I noticed the anxiety that occurred in my bride's father's eyes.)

Do you hear me" I asked lowly but dangerously enough to freeze anyone's blood.

"I think she has been kidnapped as many of my enemies were after her! "

I suspiciously narrowed my gaze at him again because there was the one thing that I loathe the most and that was being deceived

But this time there was no ounce of fear in his eyes.

The tension in the air turned thick.

All the gazes were fixed at me but my mind was occupied by her innocent but infuriated eyes.

That day when I met her and she stared at me with her blazing eyes, my whole body had started burning with desires.

I felt my grandfather's palm on my shoulder.

Coming out of my thoughts, I looked around me,

My one word and the peaceful atmosphere would turn into a trance of war.

I looked at Derek who was looking nervous as hell, it was either because of my anger or maybe because of his lost daughter.

If it this true that she got abducted by any of the gangs, they gonna pay for it but except Lucian, all the clans fear me.

Derek instantly cleared himself but I held his gaze. If he is messing with me, not only Derek but all his close ones would suffer from my warmth and there is no mercy inside me for traitors.

No one can blame me because this was how I was raised by my mom and grandfather.

I looked at my trusted men and barked orders to find Medusa at every cost.

She was not just the business deal for me but she was my obsession, my possession, and my therapy too.

I took my Grandpa's position three years ago, as I was the only heir of the Knight empire I had many responsibilities over my shoulders, especially the responsibility of our family title and family business, but except for billion-dollar business, we had a dark life too where we do drug and weapon business.

Since childhood, I took my training and lessons from my grandfather.

I was blazed inside the fire to turn into the man I am today and I am very much proud of myself.

When I was kid, Mom always used to say that I was my Dad's copy but as I started growing bigger and bigger, Grandpa almost pushed my mom out of my life.

It may looked cruel to our clan and others too but it was good for all of us.

It was Lucian's birthday in Africa, but ignoring the party she was sitting all alone in the backyard and gazing at the stars.

The spark in her eyes was drowning in the never-ending ocean.

I had witnessed her smiling while looking at the stars and it was the most innocent smile that I ever laid my eyes on but her smile was laden with loneliness and sadness.

The moment I laid my eye on her, I made up her mind but the only evil reality was I couldn't claim her that time as she was too young for me.

She wasn't like the hues I had encountered in the past neither did she have evilness inside her.

My sanity recalled the moment when my lips made a deep connection with her lips. That feeling was divine, I knew she would taste good but she tasted beyond sweeter than my imagination.

In the past three years, I had imagined myself doing many wild things to her, but the taste of her lips beats all the years of my imagination about her.

When our eyes met, I knew she was untouched and untainted, but she also took the worst out of me.

She triggered my rage to the extent that nobody had ever done before.

She had almost woken the beast inside me who was sleeping soundly.

I was born ruthless, it was something that came into my genes.

I am a hot-headed cruel guy, who can't endure even the slightest impoliteness, not even from her or anyone else.

I am a hard man with no mercy, and after our marriage, I would surely make her habitual of my behavior and my ways.

The sound coming through my cell phone alerted me.

With a sigh, I picked up the call.

"She has been located, Lucy,

She is in Russia and very close to Lucian! " The moment my right man and my childhood buddy uttered those words, my palms fisted the cell phone tightly.

My heart was throbbing rapidly against my chest, thinking about the worst possibilities.

If Lucian reaches her before me and dares to put his hand on my girl, I would set his whole empire on fire.

"I am sending you something, I think you should look at it first! " cutting the call, I opened the video that he forwarded to me.

The haste of running away from me was simply visible on her features,

"Go home, she will be with us very soon! " I assured them, but hearing my words frown lines occurred on her forehead.

I know she wanted to me stop but because of clan members especially Grandpa, she held her tongue back but her tension was visible on her forehead in the form of stress lines.

"She will be soon my responsibility, let me get used to it, " I said and left the hall.
