“What?” we both shout in unison and he chuckles. “The prophecy says that you will bring peace to all the realms and that includes the Dragon Kingdom.” He simply says and chuckles again as he leaves.
“He is right, you know, when we defeat that demon, we will have to go see the leaders of all the other species. Some may not be so open to peace, so we have our work cut out for us.
Just think how many mates haven’t met because of the divide in the species. If Dante didn’t accept the job of my vampire guardian, he would never have met Bailey. He waited 82 years to find his beloved.
