“What else did Mamo say?” I asked Amara, and she gave me one of those bright smiles. “She just said that my new friend is a good girl and I must help her.” She replied and I just smiled back. Sometimes I really feel worried by what this little girl could possibly know and have seen.
“Yes, she is.” I said and kissed her cheek. “Amara, this is Maria. She is elder Akin’s sister, and she will be staying with us for as long as she wants. She would like to try something that could help us. Would you allow her to?” I asked, and she looked at Maria before she looked back at me.
