Mia's POV
I mind-linked my parents to tell them that Hunter and I are marked. My dad is pissed but he knows that we have to trust in the Moon Goddess.
I should really explain to him exactly what happened with Hunter while I was growing up, but I haven’t had much time and it keeps slipping my mind. Maybe if he understands why Hunter did the things he did, he will warm up to him.
When we enter the dining hall all eyes are on us. It doesn’t help that Hunter has his arm over my shoulder and my arm is around his waist.
I hear a loud whistle coming from James and everyone at my table is cheering besides my parents. My dad is scowling at Hunter and my mom is smiling at us with tear filled eyes. I know my face is red in embarrassment.
James comes over and pulls me into one of his big bear
